200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

The Orba Yoga School is delighted to deliver The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training this Autumn.

The 200 YTT is a foundational course that provides all the necessary knowledge & skills to teach Yoga It covers various aspects of yoga, including asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), yoga philosophy, and anatomy.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be a fully qualified, certified & extremely well trained Yoga Teacher.  You will be able to begin your career as a yoga teacher.

Perhaps you have no interest in teaching yoga.  This is very common.  Many people undertake YTT to deepen their own knowledge and understanding of Yoga and benefit from the consistent practice & habits Yoga provides.

NB:  You do not need to be fit, flexible or have prior teaching experience.  Basic knowledge in useful.  If you do not currently practice Yoga, you will have the opportunity to begin at Orba so to help you establish a foundation prior to the course commencing.

Brídín is the lead instructor on this course.  Brídín has a wealth of Yoga experience.  She has been teaching Yoga for almost 20 years.  She regularly travels the world learning about Yoga & emerging herself in the practice.  She frequently spends time in India learning from the very source.

She will be joined by other experts of knowledge to deliver various modules.

25 & 26 October 2025: Introduction to Yoga, Yoga History & Philosophy

22 & 23 November 2025: Yoga Asana & Practice

13 & 14 December 2025: Yoga Asana & Pranayama

24 & 25 January 2026: Yoga Anatomy & postural enhancement

21 & 22 February 2026: Meditation & Pranayama

21 & 22 March 2026: Yoga Adjustments, Stretching & Planning a class

18 & 19 April: Yoga lifestyle & Business

16 & 17 May: Yoga Practice & Graduation Ceremony

Times for each day is 9am-5pm

Attendance at all weekends is expected.  Life often gets in the way…we get it…if it is not possible for you to attend a weekend, you will be required to complete self study to catch up.  You will be fully supported to do this.
