Season of Slowing
A Day Retreat at Orba — Sunday 4 October 2026
As the leaves turn and the light softens, give yourself permission to slow down too. Season of Slowing is a full day of yoga, meditation, and stillness set against the autumn landscape at Orba — a chance to release what no longer serves you and step into the new season lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself.
8.00am — Arrival
Settle in with a warm drink, find your space, and let the outside world fall away.
8.15am — Meditation & Yoga
A slow, grounding flow paired with meditation to soften the body and quiet the mind as the day begins.
10.00am — Break
Herbal teas and fresh fruit — a gentle pause before we go deeper.
10.30am–12.30pm — Workshop: The Art of Slowing Down
A guided session exploring what it means to rest, release, and move through life’s seasons with more ease — practical tools you can carry home with you.
12.30pm–1.45pm — Lunch
A seasonal, plant-based lunch shared together, made to nourish and warm.
1.45pm–2.45pm — Nature Bathing
Time in the grounds at Orba to slow your senses down — the rustle of leaves, the smell of autumn air, the quiet of the trees. Rooted in the practice of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), this is unstructured, sensory immersion in the landscape, known to lower stress, ease the nervous system, and leave you feeling genuinely restored.
2.45pm–4.00pm — Meditation & Close
A final restorative meditation to integrate the day, followed by a gentle close and space to reflect before heading home.
